The creation of target groups is especially useful for business needs to increase sales when performing marketing campaigns. The individual target groups can be addressed in a focused way depending on the set objectives. With an appropriate target group selection, cross-sale and up-sale activities can be easily carried out.

ADDRESS THE RIGHT CUSTOMER GROUPS

In the XCRM system there are various options to define target groups:

  • Static target group:
    simple pre-existing lists of certain customers
  • Dynamic target group:
    a new, specific target group that corresponds to the defined conditions and is selected from the entire customer database by applying analysis results.

Target group selectionis an important part of the campaign design, as it affects the following points:

  • The contents of the message
  • The manner in which the message is conveyed
  • The selection of the appropriate strategy to design the campaign as efficiently as possible (ROMI)

The segmentation allows also user-defined analytical overviews, as all information is combined and processed in one place. Based on statistical data regarding the population sample, you can quickly and accurately define target groups at any given moment using the filter settings.
